description Orland Buttes Campground is on the shores of Black Buttes Lake in the scenic foothills of north-central California. Black Butte is best known for its warm-water fishery and its appeal for both powerboats and sailboats. In spring, wildflowers like Fiddlenecks, California poppies and Baby Blue Eyes flourish. Visiting during this time makes for particuarly beautiful hikes through the natural trails.
drivingDirection From Interstate 5, take the Black Butte Lake exit at Orland, CA. Travel west on County Road 200/Newville Road for 6 miles. Turn left on County Road 206 and drive 4 miles to the campground.
facilitiesDescription The family-friendly campground offers 35 campsites and a group campground that fits 50. A boat ramp and a18-hole disc golf course are included. No electric hookups are available.

nearbyAttrctionDescription Horeseback riders can make use of the horse trails at Grizzly Flat and Burris Creek. A short drive east, will take visitors to the Mendocino National Forest, where Ponderosa pines sweetly scent the air.

recreationDescription This peaceful park is well-known for fishing, sailing and water skiing. Fishing includes crappie, largemouth and smallmouth bass, spotted bass and Florida bluegill. Disc golf is also a popular activity here.
